30: Holy Moley Exponents

In the comments on Day 7b, More Exponents, Liz, on January 29th, said:
Wow, answer on Wolframalpha was pretty surprising!
Is it true for all numbers a and b, when a < b, then $a^b > b^a$?
Well? What do you say, Internet?

    Trying this again, it didn't seem to post the first time.

    Counterexample #1: Let a = 1, and b = 3.
    Counterexample #2: Let a = 2, and b = 3.
    Counterexample #3: Let a = 2, and b = 4.
